Yeah I was the kid who used to take things apart with a screwdriver just to see how it worked, then often wouldn't be able to put it back together.
Fortunately these days I know what I'm doing when it comes to web technologies. It's important your website is developed using the right tools and my toolbox contains a proven work set. If you're after a solution in a different technology no worries, I'll either adopt it, or work with one of many associate developers to get the task done for you.
XHTML
As this stuff is the core of a website I take pride in writing semantic standards compliant XHTML. Semantic XHTML ties in so closely to accessibility and SEO, it needs to be tight if you want a usable website and this is something I take a lot of pride in.
CSS
Everyone's gotta have one talent right?
Designing layouts,structure and typography with CSS can sometimes be a tricky task. With years of experience in making fluid, stable, and cross broswer compatible websites your in safe hands here. This also ties into accessibility and is the backbone for a structurally sound website, offering stability and aesthetic flexibility. You won't find table based layouts here, tables are for eating off not designing websites!
JavaScript
As a clientside developer I love adding that deft touch, or bringing static creations to life with JavaScript. You'll see many examples of JavaScript interactivity throughout my websites, and I can competently create popular clientside functionality that is so widespread on the internet. Many websites I develop also take advantage of the jQuery framework which is a fantastic supplement for streamlining clientside development.

Blogs, forums, shopping carts, content management systems, databases - this is the open source technology your after.
